About Lilah

I have been working with kids in some capacity for 20 years, from infant care to camp counselor for school aged kids to tutoring high school students . Over the last five years I have done a lot of nanny work with babies starting as early as 7 weeks and staying with them as they grow into talking toddlers. I am excellent with babies and have worked with multiple babies at the same time with 2 nanny share experiences. I have a specialty in connecting young ones with nature, letting the trees and the soil and the birds support in their sensory development. I also am very supportive of their emotional development creating a safe space for them to work through frustrating and hard feelings to learn and grow resilience and curiosity.

I hired Lilah when my daughter was 4 months old. As a single parent, I knew I needed to create a really foundational community of support for my little one, and Lilah has been with us now for over a year and a half. My daughter loves Lilah days! Lilah has a calm, steady energy, while remaining creative and allowing for a lot of infant or child led exploration. She has a background in nature connection and nature-based play which has really benefited my active child. They explore outside every day. She's really good at working with nature in a way that supports sensory awareness and nervous system regulation. I've also appreciated her enthusiasm for discovering and learning new parenting methods and techniques for various stages of development. She a great soundboard for problem solving. She was wonderful, for instance, in helping to sleep train my daughter. It felt like more of a team effort with Lilah on board. Perhaps most importantly, I really trust Lilah with the physical and emotional safety of my daughter.
