About Lillie

I am a recent graduate of the University of Kansas majoring in Speech- Language - Hearing with a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus in the Mandarin language. I have years of experience babysitting children from 2 months old to high schoolers. I also have years of experience and a passion for working with people of all ages who have special needs. I worked most summers as a paraprofessional at the Blue Valley school district. I also volunteered at KU's Language Acquisition Preschool working to create fun play activities to elicit speech and language learning. I also had the wonderful experience working as a student clinician at KU's Schiefelbush clinic providing speech therapy for adult stoke patients. Through all these experiences and more I have learned how to work with people of any age, culture, ability, etc. and have grown a passion to dedicate my life to continue to grow and learn so I can continue to be a better caregiver, aid, teacher, and overall person.
