I attended the University of Maryland where I studied English Language and Literature and served as the Academic Chair for Sorority Life. I obtained a 90-hour early childhood certificate while I worked at a kindergarten assistant at a private school in Rockville. I am currently working towards my master's in teaching while working as a teacher. I have a special education background. I became a teacher because I love working with students and helping them grow. I love giving students the tools and resources to be independent, successful, lifelong learners.
