About Linda

I'd describe my caretaking style as relaxed and engaged. I enjoy interacting with children and getting to know them. I like working with kids because they have a fresh outlook on the world. I enjoy facilitating their exploration of the world around them as they learn. I started working with kids when I was young. I babysat and then started working in child care facilities while in college. I raised my own two children and was a stay at home mom for part of that time caring for other children in my home for many years. Over the years I led the pre-school choir at my church, served as a den and pack leader in Cub Scouts, and worked as a youth director at my church. Now my children are grown and I get to enjoy my young grandchildren. In my spare time, I like to go camping, take my granddaughter to the park or pool, and work on my craft projects. I am First Aid/CPR certified and am a non smoker.
