My love for children started in my childhood as the oldest of 5, I took my first full time nanny position 19 years ago. I nannied for 3 years before opening my own home up to children as I homeschooled my own children. I had a few short term care jobs before deciding to watch children in my own home. Since then I have spent the last 10 years caring for 3 sets of 2 children from birth to school age. The last 2 children in my care will be starting school in the fall of 2026. I prefer long term care as I pour my heart into the children I care for and they and their families become like an extension of my own. I enjoy taking the children to parks, the zoo, walks and play dates with other children their ages. I think it is important for the children to have friends while in my care and to feel loved. Lindsay is such an amazing babysitter, she has been caring for my 4 children since they were infants and my oldest is now 12. Her empathy, compassion and patience are just a few of the reasons my children have safe and loved while in her care. She always goes above and beyond in caring for my children, sometimes that’s helping with homework, giving extra snuggles, calming anxieties, baking and sharing homemade cookies, going on walks, playing at parks, and just making sure that they are all safe and loved while in her care. I know that when my children are with her they are in very capable hands and I have nothing to worry about. All 4 of my children regularly ask to go to Lindsay’s house even when I have no need of a babysitter, and it’s that type of bond that she shares with my children that make me feel at ease and confident in the care she provides.
