About Lindsay

I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver with several years of experience supporting older adults, including individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer's. My interest in this work began with caring for my grandmother, who had Alzheimer's, and that experience continues to guide my approach. I practice compassion as a moral rule, shaped by an early interest in philosophy and ethics. While earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, I volunteered in retirement homes, soup kitchens, and with Meals on Wheels. My background in nutrition and yoga therapy has taught me the importance of stillness, breath, nourishment, and routine in overall well-being. I understand that aging can feel frightening or disorienting at times, and I aim to bring calm, dignity, and joy into daily life. Having lived and traveled abroad, I communicate easily with people from many backgrounds. Outside of caregiving, I enjoy nature, reading, hiking, art, poetry, and caring for my plants and cat.
