About Lindsay

Hello! I'm a nonsmoking female, available for recurring childcare as of May 22nd. I'll be interning 15 hrs/wk this summer, and hope to spend my off hours working with kids. While I'm new to this site, I have two years of experience caring for a 7-8 yr old, and 2-3 additional years helping a family with three children from pre-school age through middle school. I love to keep kids engaged by following their specific interests. As a psychology major with coursework in child development, I understand the need for age-appropriate activities that both entertain and educate. I'm experienced with conflict resolution and ADHD mentoring, and I can transport children to & from their summer outings. While I'd prefer a summer-long assignment working for 1-2 families, I am open to sporadic babysitting gigs as well. I'd be happy to obtain my CPR certification, if this makes potential employers more comfortable. Background check and DMV report are complete/clear.
