About Lindsey

I hail from a tiny town in Indiana where I grew up on a farm surrounded by forests. My childhood was spent exploring outdoors and my love of nature inspired me to get a bachelor's degree in environmental management and masters in public policy. I went on to work as a policy analyst for the federal government. Once I became a mom, I discovered a passion for working with young children and for the past 17 years have worn many hats: nanny, soccer coach, foster mom, religious education teacher, and early childhood educator. I have experience teaching in schools with various philosophies including reggio, forest, and montessori. I find so much joy working with young children and am passionate about honoring the innate abilities and curiosity within children.
