About Lindsey

I like working with kids because it is fulfilling work that doesn't necessarily feel like a job. I love connecting with kids through curiosity and play, and using problem solving skills to find ways to get them excited about things like eating vegetables, or cleaning up after playtime. I started working with kids a few years ago, when my sister needed help with caring for her toddler. She now has two toddlers that I have the pleasure of caring for a few days a week. Over the years, I've seen myself really grow and blossom as a caregiver and have grown to love doing it. One thing you should know about me is I am very balanced in my approach to caring for kids. I'm lots of fun, and love to play and be silly, and I also balance that with consistent boundaries so that kiddos know what to expect. I'll also add that I am always looking for fun activities to engage the kids with. Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to ideas for DIY activities for the 1-year-old I currently care for!
