About Lisa

Hi! During this chaotic time, we all need a shoulder to lean on. I can be that for you! My name is Lisa. I am currently an Honors Research Scholar at the University of Alabama working towards becoming a Pediatric Nutritionist. However, don't let that long, academic title bore you! I am a down-to-earth, loving girl with a passion for helping kids (and their exhausted parents). From running marathons to movie marathons, I have the energy it takes to keep kids entertained! I have 8 years of paid childcare experience. Before starting college, I worked as a full-time summer nanny for an 8-month-old infant. Even at college, I work with children every day of the week! I am the Vice President of the STEM Education Initiative. That means I have the opportunity to travel to schools in Tuscaloosa and teach interactive Science and Math lessons to students aged 4-10! I am well-equipped to help your children learn in engaging way. With hard work AND fun, I know they can succeed!
