About Lisa

I started babysitting when I was 11 years old. Ever since then, I have cared for children either by babysitting, volunteering in a church nursery or school, working at a daycare or school as a teacher's aide and most importantly, raising my own children. I home schooled my oldest child for 2 years, and tutored 2 first graders in writing and reading. I have worked with all age groups, but tin he past 2 years my work has been with infants through 5 years old. I also have a couple months of experience working with behavior impaired, and developmentally impaired children as a substitute instructional assistant in elementary, middle school and high school settings. I am an exceptionally patient person. I am creative, kind, loyal, soft spoken yet firm with rules, and consistent. I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, playing board and card games, cooking, and organizing. I am looking forward to helping provide financially for my family with a job that I find very important, meaningful, and fun.
