Hi there, A few things that matter to me when it comes to approaching children- gentleness, enthusiasm, regular interaction (I don't believe in putting kids in front of a screen for hours and hours) and loving enforcement of parent's guidelines. The ages of kids I have looked after on an ongoing basis have ranged from 1-14 years old. The tasks completed throughout these times have ranged from diaper changing, driving to various activities/camps/schools, hosting playdates, doing arts and crafts, outdoor activities (walks, playground etc), making basic meals, light cleaning and getting the children ready for bedtime. My full time job at a marketing agency has recently gone on part time so i'm available to pick up more babysitting shifts. I have babysat for over 5 care families and have had great experiences with them! I love kids and very comfortable with dogs (I have an Aussie myself). I look forward to chatting! Lisa is the first non-family caregiver we’ve had for our 15 month old son. Needless to say, I was anxious about bringing someone new into his “village”, but he warmed up to Lisa very quickly and loves her so much! Lisa is has a very kind, loving energy about her, and she does a wonderful job of connecting with him and getting him engaged in activities he enjoys. She made the transition so much easier than I expected for all of us. I highly recommend Lisa!
