About Lisanne

I taught high school for 20 years. During my years of teaching. I worked in schools that had great diversity in ethnicity as well as economics. I raised 2 boys of my own, one is finishing his degree in Graphics here locally, and the other is working toward a Sports Medicine degree in Colorado. I am a natural teacher, and love to make even little things into fun learning experiences. I spent 2 and a half years Nannying for a 2-year-old and his baby brother when he was born- from 2 months to 6 months. During this time, I took them on outings- to the zoo, children's museum, parks, etc. Being a teacher, I naturally make everything a learning game- whether it's lining up plastic/rubber toy animals by type or color, and counting as we put them away; or learning colors as they are being/getting dressed, or when we are on walks outside. I love teaching littles no matter what we're doing. I also don't mind doing light house work, yard work, laundry, or meal prep.
