I am a caring, patient, and dependable junior-year BSN nursing student with a genuine passion for working with older adults. I have experience caring for a woman in her 90s with dementia, providing companionship, supervision, reassurance, and support with her daily routine. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassionate communication, especially when caring for someone with memory changes. Through nursing school, I have also gained knowledge in older-adult care, patient safety, fall prevention, mobility, infection prevention, vital signs, and recognizing changes in a person's condition. I can assist with companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, appointments, mobility support, and daily routines as appropriate.
