About Liz

Caring for animals has always been one of the places where I feel most at peace. I love getting to know an animal, learning their routine, and discovering all their individual habits and opinions-because they definitely have opinions! I've been around animals almost my entire life. I joined 4-H at six to learn about rabbits and grew up with rabbits, dogs, and fish. Over the years I've also bottle-fed orphaned kittens and baby goats, cared for chicks, raised lambs, trained dogs, and ridden horses. I'm patient, empathetic, adaptable, and good at noticing subtle changes in an animal's behavior. I also take animal care seriously. I'm not someone who gets an exciting new pet on a whim-I research what they need to thrive and whether I'm the right person to provide it. I bring that same attitude to your pets. If I'm unfamiliar with a breed, species, or particular need, I'll research, ask questions, and learn rather than pretend I already know everything.
