I have always had an affinity for seniors . I had a close relationship with my grandmother and an older neighbor across the street. By age 20 I was going into senior care facilities and singing to and visiting with residents. I also presented programs for groups in a living room setting. As my BA is in classical vocal performance I continued this practice for many years. Eventually I worked as a recreational assistant and music therapist in 3 different care homes. Included in my experience was working in memory care with Alzheimer's patients. I enjoyed seeing these folks become lucid and joyful when we sang tunes from their past. I would enjoy giving TLC to seniors in their own homes and helping them in any way they need. I am currently providing rides to seniors in Pittsford, NY.
