About Lorena

Lorena is an absolute gem, and any family to have her help is lucky! We hired Lorena as a teacher/childcare provider for our six-year olds during almost an entire year of distance learning. She managed our pod of 4 boys from 8:30 - 2:30, and she created an environment that was both fun and educational. She helped keep the kids on task during zoom sessions with their school, as well as provided enrichment activities during breaks, such as Spanish lessons and fun outside/"recess" games and activities. She was excellent at managing behavior, expectations, and parent communication. We couldn't have made it through distance learning without her, and the only reason she isn't with us still is that our local school opened back up full-time. I will forever be grateful to Lorena, as she was an integral part of our family surviving Covid lockdown and school closure. While we are grateful that school has reopened, we were terribly sad to say good-bye to Lorena and we miss her every day!
