About Loretta

Hello all! I'd describe my personality as nurturing, dependable, and creative. I have always had a passion for working with children and began working in daycares in my early twenties after having children of my own. I also have over 15 years of experience in the public school system as a Substitute Teacher with elementary school-aged children. I believe children are like sponges that absorb the environment around them and I like to instill qualities such as independence, positivity, integrity, and healthy self-esteem. The formative years of a child's life are crucial and I am committed to enhancing children's lives through reinforcing positive behaviors as well as encouraging their growth and development. When working with children, the connection formed with the parent is equally important; communication is key to having successful interactions with parents and children alike. I am looking forward to being a nanny in a warm, loving, peaceful, and safe environment.
