I have over 20 years' experience working with the elderly and disabled, some of which was in a nursing home, doing one on one visits, activities in group settings, and home care as well. I am now finishing up a one year and eight month position for a lovely Alzheimer's Female client who is now 79 years old. I made myself available to her family in many capacitys. I did overnights when daughter went on vacation etc. I enjoy working with the elderly and disabled or any needed situation, giving the necessary attention, care and encouragement that they are in need of. I would like to continue this rewarding type of work as this what I enjoy and desire. My specialty is my cheerful disposition and warm personality. keeping the clients quality of life is most important to me! I look forward to the next caregiver position given to me, I consider it a gift and a blessing!
