About Lou

I'd describe my personality as Active! I love learning and exploring. Attentive! Engaging! My skills include Outdoor education experience with ages 3-18+. I've spent the past year at a fellowship getting my graduate certificate in outdoor education. I spent a lot of time learning how to adapt different outdoor activities to all ages. I've taught adventure classes, hiking, birding, history and more! Strong rapport building I have a lot of experience meeting kids where they are socially and physically. I've have experience with students with various behavioral needs and nuances and have had no trouble getting to know them and their favorite activities! Teaching / Tutoring I have an extended background in both teaching and tutoring. In addition to knowing camp games and songs, I also can incorporate various learning techniques. My main focus right now as an educator is experiential learning.
