About Luciana

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and nurturing. I like working with kids because it's fun being the kind of babysitter I would have wanted when I was younger. I'm looking for a job that I can look forward to. I enjoy being around kids and channeling that nurturing side of me that allows me to connect and bond with kids. I started working with kids as a job about a year ago with a family friend, but have experience with them since I was 9 with my younger siblings. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch movies/shows that make me laugh or bring me comfort, play volleyball/throw the football, and clean (I find it therapeutic). My skills include discipline and comfort. I know how to speak to children in ways they can understand me without having to be strict or hard on them. I like to approach things from a loving but stern perspective. I'm patient and won't get frustrated easily. I understand that repeating myself is necessary in most cases.
