About Lucia

I am a rising junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in music therapy at the UOM in KC. I have extensive experience teaching children in music classes through programs such as the MAOM, the MSP, as well as being a private violin teacher. This has also allowed me to do outreach concerts, including playing at local churches and retirement communities. I have also been a violin teacher at the City of Refuge for five years, where we provide music classes for kids of all ages. I come from a big family, where I am the middle of seven kids, and am a twin, which means that I am very experienced with helping with kids, our pets, and other household tasks. In my free time, I am an avid cook and baker, I love to read classics, learn languages, and am currently teaching myself embroidery. My previous work experience includes working in both assisted and independent living at a local retirement community, and working at Shakespeare's pizza!
