About Lucy

Hi! My name is Lucy, and I'm an incoming freshman studying English Education with hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. I've loved working with kids for as long as I can remember! I'm the second oldest of five girls and have five younger cousins, so caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 13, and I was a nanny for two children, starting when they were one and three. I also ran an all-girls summer camp from seventh grade through senior year, regularly caring for 7-10 girls at a time while planning activities, crafts, games, swimming, dancing, cooking, and more. I'm CPR certified, responsible, creative, nurturing, and organized. I'm happy to help with homework, play, prepare simple meals, bake, and keep things tidy. I'm also very comfortable with pets and have two dogs of my own! I don't smoke and take creating a safe, positive environment for children very seriously.
