About Lydia

I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, gentle. I like caring for seniors because it feels like I am caring for my own parents. Seniors are in a sensitive, sweet time of their lives and I appreciate the challenges that they face and that we all face one day. I feel we all need to do a better job of embracing old age, elders and our own mortality. I'm looking for a job where I can meet the needs of my client, a job that is consistent so I can really get to know my client, and a job which feels like a good fit for both parties. I started caring for seniors when I was applying to nursing school. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, sailing and kayaking. I love to garden and read. One thing you should know about me is that I like to laugh. My skills include being patient and speaking slowly, walking with clients, reading to clients.
