About Lydia

Hi! Thanks for taking some time to get to know me. I have over 8 years of experience caring for children with diverse needs and a wide range of ages 0-13. I am passionate about supporting kids as they develop and explore life. This led me to getting my degree in psychology and human development at WSU. After graduation, I started working in the nonprofit sector as a Care Manager for adults that live with developmental disabilities. I have found other ways of being involved in supporting kids, including becoming a mentor for at risk youth and volunteering with foster kids. I'm open to work evenings and weekends. My care skill sets include: newborns, toddlers, school age, developmental disabilities, emotional regulation and deesclation, reading cues and non-verbal, setting boundaries, developing schedules, making nutritions food, and light household tasks.
