About Lyndsay

Hi! My name is Lyndsay. I hold a BA and MA in Women's Studies. I have a background in social work- 5 years as a case manager for adults with co-occurring mental health disorders and 3 years as a domestic violence advocate working in a shelter setting with women and children. Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me. For the past six years, I've had the privilege of doing my work with compassion and care. I am open to different care taking opportunities. I love caring for animals. I am also open to house-care or house sitting. I am also open to elder care and child care including but not limited to help with errands, shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and physical activity. I am able to adapt to changing routines and de-escalate stressful situations. My approach is patient, friendly, and empathetic. I respect each person's independence and autonomy. Safety is the most important part of my work ethic and environment!
