I started caring for seniors over 10 years ago. I have helped couples go through Hospice and the loss of a spouse. I have spent the night holding the hand of a lady who just lost her husband. I learned more from her than she ever received from me. I have been blessed by so many people who I have cared for. Lynne went above and beyond with my dad. She always tried to find ways to give him the best quality of life. For example since he couldn’t walk far she made him a path with chairs he could walk to around the yard. However because of macular degeneration he had difficulty spotting the chairs so one day she brought different colored ribbons and found out he could see yellow so she tied yellow ribbons to each chair to help him see them. Additionally she helped him with daily needs without ever making him feel bad for needing help or embarrassed. She allowed my dad to have as much independence as he could safely have while always being right there to help. She really enjoys helping people in this stage of life and it shows through the love and care she provides.
