About Maame

I have had experience watching children for some time personally watching my own little sister as well as some family friends' children (as I was growing up). I had a few baby-sitting jobs as a teenager. On average, the most children I would watch could be up to three at a time. I have skills with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and kids. If going to one's house, I am able to interact and play with children, take them to nearby parks/recreations, read with them, help with homework, teach them anything I have found fascinating in my education, sometimes creating new games to make time fun, arts and crafts etc. I also do light work such as cleaning around the house if I find things out of order. I have also had background working with the elderly in a nursing home environment as well as in-home care-giving. I am able to work with various patients, such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Able to change, dress, feed, and offer companionship to an individual. Overall, I am great with kids and the elderly. I am a "people-person", flexible, and reliable. I am CPR, First-Aid, and CNA certified.
