About Mackenzie

After graduating in May with an Early Childhood teaching degree, I would love to spend my summer nannying/babysitting while I am home! I have worked at a daycare with children as young as 8 weeks to Pre-K, and absolutely loved working with all ages. Recently, I have babysat for younger babies, but my knowledge of sitting sans to upper elementary-aged students as well. I have worked numerous summers at an aftercare program, and most recently have been working for a special needs camp for teenagers and adults. For my teaching degree, I student-taught in a first grade classroom and absolutely loved it. My past six years of experience has given me practice with infants, toddlers, and early childhood students. With Covid-19, I'm sure every child is sick of being stuck in the house. I love being outside and keep an active lifestyle. I have my own vehicle as well. As I am applying for teaching jobs for the fall, I would love to babysit during these summer months!
