About Mackenzie

Hi, my name is Mackenzie! I am a 23-year-old recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics and a minor in Economics. I am currently seeking a part-time or full-time position in childcare and/or tutoring. My passion for childcare began at a young age when I started caring for my younger sibling. Since then, I have gained over six years of paid experience. I have also taken multiple child development courses and served as a student teacher in the Penn-Trafford High School Preschool Program for 3 years. Additionally, I am CPR and first aid certified. As a caregiver, I am energetic, attentive, and creative. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where children can grow and thrive. With seven years of tutoring experience, I aim to nurture intellectual curiosity and incorporate educational crafts and activities into childcare. I am ideally seeking a rate of at least $10/hour per child, but I am flexible. I look forward to hearing from you!
