About Mackenzie

I have approx. 5 years of experience babysitting and nannying! I am CPR and First Aid certified through Red Cross. I am also lifeguard and swim instructor certified through Red Cross, so I am able to teach swimming lessons if wanted. My biggest jobs have included: nannying a 3-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, tutoring a 10-year-old boy, nannied 2 siblings (4 y/o girl, 1 boy), nannied 3 siblings (twin boys from when they were 11 months to 18 months, and their sister who was 5 and had type 1 diabetes), I gave insulin shots and helped monitor her blood sugar. My background includes driving children and I am comfortable doing so if that's something you need. To describe myself, I am flexible and always up to learning new things, good with communication, have a broad skill set, and LOVE kids! I have a lot of experience with the gentle-parenting style, and I feel as though I handle hard situations with children well. I love arts and crafts and always try to make the kid's day with me fun :)
