hi! I am a junior in college and I'm going to be here in phoenix for the school year. I am here basically until the end of April. I would love to find a nanny/babysitting job for a family. I have lots of experience around watching kiddos. I grew up with my mom doing daycare and since an early age I have always loved being around kids and helping out! I also always watched my younger siblings, and have babysat for lot and lots of family's. Two summers ago I also nannied two boys both under the age of one. In addition to the last summer I helped out with a family full time watching a 9year old and 12-year-old. To say the least I really love nannying, I just really enjoy building connections with the not only the kids but the family. As far as my schedule I am looking to find something around my school schedule. I am available Tuesday-Friday after 11 a.m. I can also occasionally work weekends. Mackenzie was an amazing helper for our family for about four months. Our kids are on the older side (9 and 12) so Mackenzie was primarily responsible for helping them stay organized and getting them to all their activities timely and prepared. Mackenzie was reliable, considerate, trustworthy and always looking for ways to help. She helped with laundry, dishes, kitchen organization, general clean up, errands and much more. She was so much more than a helper for the kids – she helped take care of the household more generally which was a huge help to me. Most importantly, she connected well with both kids. Our 9 yo grew very close with her – they made up dance routines, remodeled her room, read books, practiced soccer drills and had so much fun together! She even managed to connect with our 12 yo, who is “too old for a nanny.” We knew that we would only get her for four months while she was on break from school but didn’t realize how much we would miss her when she went back to school. We highly recommend Mackenzie.
