About Mackenzie

Hello! I am an MSDE certified special educator with my B. S. in English/Education and currently working on my M. Ed. in Special Education as well. During the school year, I work in Baltimore City Public Schools. Prior to this, I worked as a homework-center aid in a private middle school while tutoring and babysitting in the evenings. While I am teaching at the high school level during the school year, I am available during the summer for tutoring, child-care, and pet-sitting. I have a passion for working with children and helping them grow and succeed. My approach to childcare values empathy, patience, and communication. During tutoring, I implement social-emotional learning techniques and methods to help with organization and study skills. I hope to hear from you soon!
