About Mackenzie

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, silly and joyful. I like caring for seniors because I adore getting to spend time with my elders and learn from their life experiences. I teach music classes to combat dementia at various senior living facilities around Austin. I love playing card games, running errands and cooking healthy food. I'm looking for a part-time job where I can improve someone's quality of life with my companionship and help. I started caring for seniors as a teenager when I helped care for aging family members. I also started a music education business while in school to help seniors combat dementia. In my spare time, I like to play the ukulele, go to the gym, cook and travel. One thing you should know about me is I love cats and learning new languages. My skills include keeping fun conversation, planning activities and cooking healthy food.
