About Mackenzie

Hi, I'm Mackenzie! I'm based in the Medical District and am looking for as-needed babysitting opportunities! I recently earned my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University, where I gained experience working with children of all ages and abilities! My clinical training included working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and school settings, giving me a strong foundation in child development and specialized care. Outside of my clinical work, I've supported children and teens (ages 3-17) with intellectual disabilities and autism as a program leader at a local recreation program. I also worked as a substitute teacher with toddlers at the University of Illinois Child Development Laboratory, helping to create a safe, engaging space for young children to explore and grow. I'm CPR certified, trained in trauma-informed care, and experienced in creating supportive spaces for children of all abilities. I'd love to connect and learn how I can support your family!
