About Macy

I am a compassionate caregiver experienced in dementia, hospice, and end-of-life care. Caring for my grandmother in her final months taught me patience, tenderness, and dignity. More recently, I cared for a friend's mother with dementia during hospice, helping de-escalate confusion, restlessness, anger, and aggression. I love creating a peaceful home through nutritious cooking, meal prep, cleaning, laundry, and companionship. I'm great with pets! My background in energy work, sound healing, plant medicine studies, and shamanic training informs my whole-person approach. I've accompanied multiple people through their final days and can create a beautiful, ceremonial space when welcomed by the family. To me, caregiving means honoring each person's humanity and helping them feel safe, respected, and deeply cared for.
