About Maddie

I have been a caregiver from middle school through college, and I've worked with many diverse families. In high school, I nannied three boys for three years, and I was responsible for picking them up from school, getting them to swimming or soccer lessons, helping with homework, and entertaining them on the weekends. My most recent work experience was nannying a 1-year-old for two years who was developmentally delayed. I've also worked as a horseback riding instructor and climbing instructor for children aged 8-17. I have a master's degree in English, and feel confident helping in most grade-level school work. I work a full time remote job as an editor for a magazine, and my hours are very flexible. I love to be outside, like creating activities that don't require screens, and love encouraging curiosity with our natural world. I'm able to adapt to a family's communication and discipline styles easily.
