About Madelaine

Hi, I'm Madie! I'm a passionate educator, artist, and caregiver with nearly a decade of experience supporting children of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities and diverse learning needs. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a background in early childhood education. For nearly 10 years, I taught at Fernbrook Farms, leading nature-based programs for 4- and 5-year-olds. I'm now a full-time artist and small business owner! Inspired by Waldorf and Montessori principles, I celebrate creativity, independence, curiosity, and child-led discovery. I believe childhood should be colorful, muddy, imaginative, and full of wonder! Think outdoor adventures, art-making, sensory play, storytelling, and laughter. I bring warmth, patience, adaptability, and joy to caregiving, creating a space where every child feels seen and celebrated. I'd love to connect with a family who values genuine relationships and sees childcare as more than supervision, but as connection!
