About Madeleine Edith

Hello, families! I'm a recent graduate of Wellesley College, with experience tutoring and caring for kids ages 4-13. I currently work full-time as an elementary educator, and am looking for some additional gigs during evenings and weekends. I specialize in tutoring critical reading, writing, and executive function skills. I tend to connect especially well with shy, creative kids who need someone to nurture their imagination and support their unique interests. I also love both dogs and cats, and am happy to help you out with pet sitting! I'd describe my personality as kind, playful, and empathetic. My "teacher superpowers" are patience, asking the right questions, and making learning fun. I enjoy seeing students derive satisfaction from progressing in a subject that challenges them. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, and takes place mostly on weekends. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, play music, work on community theatre productions, and hang out with friends.
