About Madeline

Hi, my name is Maddy! I've been a nanny for a now almost 4-year-old for about 3 years, including her siblings (8 & 11), but the little one I nanny is headed off to daycare a few days a week, so I'm currently looking for a part-time position. Along with nannying, I've worked at the Sumner Y for two years as a child watch attendant. My role was to care for and supervise children from ages newborn to 8 years old, which was amazing to be able to interact with kids of such different ages! My education and experience focuses more on newborn through toddler years; I have potty trained, sleep trained and can teach basic skills that are present in most preschools. My nanny style focuses on patience, understanding and respect. It's important to me that they feel safe, heard and connected, which allows the best space for learning.
