About Madeline

Hi there! My name is Madeline and I have worked as a Behavior Technician with children (aged 3-12yrs) on the spectrum of autism for the past two years! I have been incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to help shape other's lives in a positive manner, as I too have grown so much alongside my past clients/coworkers. However, I have recently moved to Crown Point and I am looking for something consistent that is closer to home. In my previous roll, I was able to: -Complete CPR, ABM, and BT training. -Build strong rapport with clients and families by practicing empathy and patience daily to create a familiar, welcoming, safe, and fun environment that encourages socially significant learning and growth. -Understand and manage challenging behaviors in accordance with their function. -Utilize a variety of prompting and fading techniques to aid in errorless learning, and build independence in completion of skills. -Gain familiarity with alternative communication software.
