About Madelyn

I'd describe my personality as calm, open, and optimistic. I grew up in a large household, and enjoyed watching and helping my siblings grow into who they are now. I'm a professional wedding photographer, and working with kids during the week fits in well with my business schedule. I'm looking for a job that can provide 20+ hours of work during the week. I have 10 years of experience with nannying children of all ages, with housekeeping, and with pet sitting. I started officially working with kids when I was 14 years old, ranging from newborns to 8-year-olds. Since then I've worked seasonal/odd jobs with kids on and off through the years. I love to cook, and spend time with my chocolate lab/german shepherd mix, and two cats. I'm also a big nature fan and enjoy gardening/foraging during the warmer months. I have a 4-year-old nephew with autism and enjoy learning new techniques to help him communicate and overcome obstacles.
