About Madelyn

I started working with kids when I was 15 as a swim instructor. Over summers and throughout college I worked in two different school-aged childcare settings. I am currently a second grade teacher. My skills include patience, consistency, and fostering independence with kiddos. When given the opportunity, kids can oftentimes do more than we/they may think and I find it so exciting to watch them develop higher independence! I love exploring topics and doing crafts/activities with children. In my spare time, I like gardening or reading. I enjoy spending time outdoors in summer and going camping/up north with family and friends!
