About Madison

Hi there! I'm Madison, a part time nanny living in Duluth. I have been in childcare for 9 years and a nanny since 2019 and have loved every minute of it. I have a passion for teaching and seeing children's brains grow and develop! I have CPR/First Aid certification that is valid for one more year. I'm a student at UMD graduating in May 2025 and will be pursuing a Master of Education (emphasis on Spanish and ESL) shortly after. I would love to find a family that is interested in a Spanish centered approach. It provides me with great practice speaking while also giving your child(ren) the opportunity to learn a second language! In my classes at UMD I focus a lot on second language acquisition and how beneficial it is to young minds. I focus primarily on using a gentle approach with the children while also instilling personal responsibility and growth. I also value play as the top contributor to learning for younger ages.
