Madison was attentive and engaged with our son during the time she spent babysitting for us. We appreciated that she stayed off her phone while he was awake and made a genuine effort to arrive on time. We had no concerns about her as a caretaker in the moment. That said, the way our working relationship ended was disappointing. Madison encouraged us to book with her quickly as her schedule was filling up, so we went ahead and reserved dates for the next 2-3 months. Shortly after, she let us know she was sick and wouldn't be able to make it the following day. Nearly a week later, we reached out to check in, and she informed us she could no longer work with us due to a family situation. We absolutely understand that life happens, but we would have appreciated more proactive communication rather than having to follow up ourselves. As a result, we were left scrambling to find coverage for all the dates we had already scheduled with her. If you're looking for someone for a one-off date night, Madison could be a good option. For families needing consistent, long-term care, we'd encourage you to have a clear conversation upfront about communication expectations.
