About Madison

-- I am a New York transplant of 13 years currently based in Astoria, Queens! In all my years living here, I have consistently worked with children as a babysitter, nanny, and arts educator. I have also done volunteer work with teens in the drug abuse prevention education space. -- I have a performing arts background, and I love to encourage imaginative/dramatic play, singing and musical instruments, writing, and art projects-- I am of the firm belief that everyone has creativity inside them, and I love to foster it in children! -- When I work with children, I believe that safety and communication are paramount. I like to create reliable routines so that children and parents know what to expect, and I like to work with families to make sure that children feel a sense of consistency when I am their caregiver. -- A point of pride in my childcare experience is that I have often been hired to work with families who have met me and witnessed my work out in the wild.
