With four years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, not just memorization. I believe in empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to assess their individual learning styles. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples is important. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept clicks. I have a college degree, and I am ready to tutor in math, English, test preparation, and history. I am CPR trained and certified in First Aid.
