About Maeve

I'd describe my personality as friendly, silly, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because it has always felt intuitive to me: I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself! I began babysitting at 13 or 14, and continued doing so all throughout high school and college. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, spend time outside, and watch reality tv. I am happy to read to children, as well as cook for them. My greatest strength in childcare is my patience, which is foundational for all aspects of babysitting and nannying. I am a strong student, and an effective tutor: I will be attending graduate school for Public History in the fall, and pride myself on my ability to make learning fun for children. I am a generally creative person and I understand the importance of variety in a child's life.
