About Magen

Hi, I'm a 35-year-old Bergen County native, born in Brooklyn, and raised in Demarest. I started working with children when I was 13 years-old as a date night sitter. I found my passion for working with children when I started to work summers in high school as a teacher's assistant for children with special needs. After graduating Northern Valley Demarest, I continued my education at Bergen Community College. While attending school, I also worked at a local daycare. I worked at this local daycare for almost four years. From there, I met the first family I nannied for. I nannied part-time for this family for 7 years and I am still really close with them. After my first family, I went to work for a different family of four boys. When I started with them, they only had twin 5 months-old boys and a puppy. I babysat for them on the weekends when their parents needed help. I have been their full-time nanny since the start of the pandemic and now they have four boys and two dogs.
