About Maia

I grew up in a family of 8 with a quadriplegic, brain injured older brother. Therefore, I have been a caretaker for the entirety of my life. In addition, I have 5 nephews, and I also grew up babysitting neighbor kids. Looking after and caring for kids is something that I have always been passionate about! Professionally, I have been a nanny, a tutor, and an uncertified health aide for the past 2 years (all for families who have children with intellectual disabilities). I understand how personal it is to entrust someone with the care of your children, and to also entrust someone new into your family. I am new to Twentynine Palms, but I have great references from the families I worked for back in Arizona. I am really bubbly, fun, and patient with children, and would love the opportunity to not only care for yours, but to also be a friend to your kids! Thanks for reading!
